I made these suncatchers from old cds. I super glued two CDs together with the shiny side out. Got out my drill and made a hole near the edge. I purchased some fishing swivels and ornament holders so when they hung around the garden (great for keeping deer away) they spin and cast rainbows. I decorated them with plastic gems. I used a glass glue to adher the gems. Using other glues either would not hold them or they melted the plastic and clouded the gems (super glue caused this). I made some with beads hanging down as well. I just drilled a hole opposite from top and two more about 1/8 of the circumference on either side. I used large plastic beads and fishing line.
